Spoon Full Of Sugar-new stockist

Hey Bloggers!

Saturday was a lovely day, I met up with friends who took me to a lovely cupcake shop in Uppermill!
We enjoyed tea and cake in beautiful miss-matched china teacups in shabby Chic surroundings. The cakes there where to die for, I went for a Malteaser cupcake!

I also took a little batch of my cards along to show the owners to see if they may like to stock them, they said yes so I am thrilled to say they are now on Sale in "spoon full of sugar" Uppermill in Saddleworth...so if your in the area drop in for a cuppa and cake!

A little selection of my zoo photographs as promised!

Wedding Bells

My lovely friend Lesley is getting married this weekend and I wanted to make her a little something
for luck on her big day. I made a little tag completed with printed feather and large shell button and a little four leaf clover.

What a great anniversary weekend...

I have had the most amazing anniversary weekend in Chester with my husband, I am still smiling now!
We started off with a trip to chester zoo which was great, particular highlights where the butterfly house and the Monkeys. There where baby orangutans playing around, bopping there mum on the head I could have watched them all day long!  We also saw a family of meerkats which had tiny babies which looked like tiny cuddly toys. (going to upload my zoo pics later )

Next we went off to a boutique hotel in a converted Georgian town house in Chester which was really quirky, great styling, great experience and a giant egg shaped bath! We then went out for a fantastic meal in the evening and eventually rolled back to the hotel (we ate until we popped!) So a great weekend in great company.
Happy anniversary Mr Rowe!

Hooray, its cards time

Today I have finally had some time to get stuck into my cards, its been a while. I started the day by making Bridesmaids jar gift which was commissioned by a bride for her sister. The jar is packed full of goodies all wrapped in hand stamped brown paper.

I have also started designing a new range of cards with cheeky sayings and cute icons (see below)
I'm really loving the camera one.

I have also made and designed a selection of Christmas cards..I still want to design a couple more before I put them onto my blog as a full range.

I miss you Dad

I can hardly believe that 1 year ago today my Dad passed away after battling Cancer- he was so brave.
It has been the hardest year of my life and there have been some very sad times.

My dad was such a great man, fun loving, funny, adventurous and kind.
I never knew you could miss someone so much that it actually hurts, I will never take for granted time spent with my loved ones ever again.

I thought it would be nice to end this post with the poem I read out at Dads funeral by the sea.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

For a dad that it so loved and missed everyday xx

Lovely sunny day x

What a lovely sunny day its been!
I know it has actually been sunny for most of the week but I have been locked away at work from early morning to late night every day so i haven't seen proper daylight or sun all week!

The sun was clearly to hot for Mr Moo as he spent the whole day laying around the house huffing and puffing. I spent the day making card supplies for a little local organic shop...exciting!

Heres a few photos I took today of Marley.

Hope you are all having a lovely sunny weekend to xx
