New creations made over easter

Hi guys, thought you may like to see a few of the cards I made over easter.

The first one is quite fitting at the moment with the royal wedding coming up-we all know Queeny loves a good brew!

I had particular fun making the caterpillar one with googly eyes-it went down a storm with it recipient!

Snoozer Marley...

Could not resist uploading this selection of photos of Marley yesterday-he was like the most sleepy cat in the world all day! He looked like a little Ewok purring away content laid out on the carpet while I made cards x

A very happy easter for me...

What a lovely stretch of time off I have had. Got lots done in the Garden including staining the decking, my planters and bench. Have seen my girlie's, we went for a picnic to Chatsworth to toast Katie's engagement-I gave her the poem bottle I had made which she loved.
Then today hubby and I went off with some friends and there little girls on a nice long walk in the countryside where we saw a whopping 40 horses in total-Little Sophie aged 6 was counting them all the way round. So tomorrows my last day off and I'm planning to spend it catching up on oodles of card orders and a wedding anniversary in a jar.


Also came across this fantastic cat sketch from "Simon's Cat" it reminded me so much of our cat Marley who has woken us up on the dot of 6.30am every morning by any means necessary!! Take a look.

Pheeeew some time off

I am very much looking forward to 5 whole days off-Yipeeee, have been busy beavering away at work designing Baby clothes for high summer so im ready for some chill time.
While I am off i'm Hoping to get out in the garden and enjoy this lovely weather were having with my Hubby and Marley moo.

Best buddy has got engaged x

My best friend in the world, Katie got engaged a few weeks ago!! We have been friends since brownies where her first memory of me was me dressed in a big green homemade caterpillar outfit-thanks mum!

I wanted to make her a little something to mark being engaged. This little bottle was salvaged from the recycling and I have decorated it in my usual vintage style. I wrote a little poem that I have rolled up and popped inside. Poetry is not something i'm that great at but thought I would give it a go.

Anyway I hope she likes it-and hope she doesn't see this post before I see her at the weekend.

posting the prize

Tonight I have spent the evening making and packaging up the cards prize for my competition.
Really love wrapping things and making the package look lovely. Jessica they are winging there way to you tomorrow!!

I have also put a new card design into the pack, thought it would be nice to have a card to send a friend, not necessarily for an occasion but just to say hi.

Busy Busy day x

Hello........
What a lovely sunny day its been today, although I have ended up spending alot of time inside catching up on card orders. I am also working on wedding save the dates which are coming along nicely-I will upload them when they are all finished and after the bride sees them.

I Managed to catch the last of the Suns rays in the garden and took my Badge it machine out with me. Made these cute little post style fabric based badges which turned out really cute!

wedding in a jar....

My good friend Nic noo is getting married this weekend so I have made her a little jar of wedding  goodies. Really enjoyed packaging it all up and making all the finishing touches! I hand stamped little luggage tags to wrap around each individual gift inside which included...a linen "love heart" two glass hearts, a lip balm for kissable lips, love letter note paper, ribbon to "tie the knot" and a mini horse shoe for luck. I finished the jar with a spotty fabric top, twine, hand made labels and a butterfly-really chuffed with it!x

Happy Belated Mothers Day..

Sorry i didn't post on mothers day was out spoiling my mum taking her out to mum places like the local garden centre followed by a cream tea in the coffee shop and then out for lunch on Sunday. Also bought her some really lovely little east of India goodies including a mini jam and wooden heart x

Lovely Jars....

Hi peeps! Spotted this amazing jar on a wedding website- Rock my wedding-its a DIY wedding favour. Just love it,the combo of doiley glass jar and twine looks fab! May have to have a go at making one of these to keep my buttons in.
